FAQ’s – Nursery/School
Do you have a brochure?
Yes. Please contact us with the name of your nursery or school to request a copy of our brochure. This contains further information about the photography process, from the photo session through to ordering and delivery.
Are you DBS (CRB) checked?
Yes. All members of our photography team are DBS checked.
Do you offer free staff photos?
Yes. We provide digital staff photographs free of charge for up to 12 members of staff.
A small fee may apply for additional staff photographs. Please note that printed staff photographs are not included and will incur a charge.
If you would like staff photographs taken, please let us know in advance so we can allow time for these during the session.
How experienced are you?
Jo and her assistant Faye have been working together since 2013 and photograph around 40 nurseries, typically two or three times a year.
Faye has 15 years of experience in childcare.
How many photos are provided of each child?
We aim to provide parents with a good selection of photographs to choose from, usually including a variety of poses and expressions.
The number of photographs available will vary from child to child, depending on how comfortable they are during their session and the time available.
Parents can also mix and match their favourite photographs when ordering our money-saving sets.
What happens if a child is not in on the day of the photo session?
Parents are welcome to bring their child in for photographs during the designated timeframe on the day, where this has been arranged with the nursery or school.
Can parents bring in siblings for the photo session if they don’t attend the nursery or school?
Our priority is to photograph the children who attend the nursery or school.
If time allows, we may be able to accommodate siblings who do not attend, but please ask us in advance so we can advise whether this will be possible.
We can photograph children from 3 months old. Newborn babies under 3 months require specific support and can only be photographed where their sibling is able to safely hold them.
How much are the photos?
Prints start from £9.50, with money-saving print sets also available. There is no minimum order.
Do you offer digital photos?
Yes. Digital photographs are available from £13 per original high-resolution image.
Parents can contact us directly to enquire about digital photographs.
Who packages the orders?
All orders are quality checked and carefully packaged by our professional photography lab before being dispatched.
How do we book Jo Neville Photography?
If you would like us to photograph the children at your nursery or school, please contact us with:

- Location
- Approximate number of children
